Sanmati Verma is a Managing Lawyer at the Human Rights Law Centre and a Law Institute of Victoria accredited specialist in immigration law. She has practised exclusively in migration and refugee law for over a decade and held various roles in private practice and the community legal sector. Sanmati is currently an advisor to the United Workers Union, a board member of the Migrant Worker Centre and Deputy Chair of the national Visa Cancellation Working Group.
