Dr Nicholas Petrie is a Barrister at the Victorian Bar, where much of his practice involves matters of public law. Nick also teaches on the University of Melbourne JD program and has been published domestically and abroad on issues of public law, human rights and international law. His PhD was supported by a Gates Cambridge scholarship and considered the relationship between fundamental common law rights and constitutional theory in Australia. Nick also holds an LLM from the LSE and undergraduate degrees from the University of Melbourne.
