Professor John Williams is the Acting Provost and Executive Dean of the Faculty of the Professions at The University of Adelaide. He holds the Dame Roma Mitchell Chair of Law. His research is in the area of constitutional and public law, including Australian legal history. As Director of the South Australian Law Reform Institute, he has been involved in a number of significant references that have informed far-reaching changes to the State’s law.
