Ellen Rock is an Associate Professor at the UNSW Faculty of Law and Justice, and co-Director of the Administrative Law and Justice Project in the G+T Centre of Public Law. Ellen’s research focusses on government accountability and liability, investigating the various legal and non-legal mechanisms that can be used to hold the government accountable for its conduct and performance. Ellen is the author of several books, including Measuring Accountability in Public Governance Regimes (Cambridge University Press, 2020), Government Liability: Principles and Remedies (LexisNexis, 2019) (with Janina Boughey and Greg Weeks), and Judicial Review of Administrative Action and Government Liability(Thomson Reuters, 8th ed, forthcoming) (with Mark Aronson, Matthew Groves and John Basten). Ellen teaches administrative law at UNSW and is currently the independent legal adviser to the NSW Legislative Council Delegated Legislation Committee.
